We recently stayed at the St Charles Coach House and overall we enjoyed our stay. Our room was comfortable as was the bed. The front desk staff were polite and helpful. We liked the proximity to the streetcar, a good breakfast cafe (Avenue Cafe), good restaurant (Lula’s) and great roof top bar in the Pontchartrain Hotel.

The location was fantastic! The trolley is $3 for a 24 hour pass and a stop is located right outside. It's a short ride to Bourbon Street or restaurants. There are several within walking distance too. It's was quiet. The hotel was fully booked, and we would've never known there were other people there. The staff were kind and knowledgeable. The room was spacious and the beds were very comfortable. They lock the hotel and parking garage up at night, which made me feel incredibly safe. You get a code to get in after 8pm. I will 100% stay here again.

Overall, the hotel left a good impression. The location is nice—not too noisy—and we got a room on the second floor with a balcony. It’s clear that the property is being looked after and maintained in decent condition. There’s free parking available, but you’ll need to get a permit. The hotel smells pleasant, the bed linens were clean, and the room itself was tidy. Can’t say anything about the WiFi - we didn’t use that.

The property isn’t far from anything you want to do in the city. Free parking in private garage. No fuss check in. Spacious room. Other comments complained about the beds being “too soft”. They were perfect. Like sleeping on a cloud. Air con quickly cooled off the room. Staff were nice and didn’t hesitate to answer questions. There’s free snacks in the lobby! Will likely stay again the next time I visit.

Easy to book. Helpful staff. Very handy to be able to park in the venue's off-street garage. The room was lovely. Everything worked. We enjoyed a good night's sleep. A proper mug was available for the coffee machine - not one of those horrible paper cups. The venue is nice and central, with a tram stop to Canal Street almost immediately outside, allowing us to visit the mighty Mississippi and the French Quarter before setting off for our next destination. This lovely hotel is in an excellent location for Mardi Gras if you go with children. Parking is also gated at the hotel. There is a fee for it, which is to be expected during this time of year. It is quiet at night once the parades end and everything settles down. If you want to experience bourbon or the partying atmosphere, I recommend staying closer to Canal Street.

Location to Garden District in NO was nice as we had reservations at the Commander's Palace. The room was really nice, combination of Art Deco and modern decor gave it a nice vintage yet clean feel.

This hotel was amazing, the sheets were really soft, it was quiet, 4 blocks from Magazine Street, it had tons of restaurants around the hotel within walking distance, they have free parking in a garage that is locked overnight, the room was large with coffee and a mini fridge. Housekeeping was great and the room was very clean.

I received such a warm welcome here! Carlos checked me in and went above & beyond helping me with my bags. He even went as far as to get them up to my room while I parked my car. Soft music was playing when I walked into my room, everything was clean, & the bed was so comfortable. Convenient to have the St. Charles line right out the door. The parking garage was peace of mind too. All staff here were great too from the front desk to housekeeping, to management. I loved it here!
